Your dashboard explained
- Everyone
On this page
The dashboard is the first page you see after signing in. It shows what needs someone’s attention today, then what’s coming up, across the whole clinic. What you see depends a little on your role: receptionists don’t see the lab and Q&A panels, and only owners see everyone’s staff compliance dates.
At the top, Clinicify greets you by name and shows today’s date and your clinic’s name.
The number cards
Each card is a link to the full list behind it. Owners and practitioners see four cards. Receptionists see only Appointments and Total patients, because they can’t review lab results or send answers.
| Card | What it counts | Opens |
|---|---|---|
| Appointments | Upcoming appointments that are confirmed or pending | Bookings |
| Total patients | Active patients on your records | Patients |
| Lab reviews | Lab uploads still processing or waiting for review | Lab Results |
| Q&A queue | Patient questions waiting for a clinician to review | Q&A Queue |
Today’s appointments
Every appointment at the clinic today, in time order. Each row shows the time, the patient, the appointment type and its status: Confirmed, Pending, Completed, No show or Cancelled. Video and phone appointments say so after the appointment type, and a video appointment has a Join button.
Select a row to open the booking, or Calendar to go to Bookings. If nothing is booked, you’ll see Nothing scheduled today.
Q&A queue
Owners and practitioners only. Patient questions waiting for a clinician to review and approve an answer. Each shows the patient and when it’s due. Due soon means it’s due within the hour, and Overdue means the deadline has passed. The panel shows up to 10; select View all for the rest. When nothing is waiting, you’ll see Queue is clear.
Lab results to review
Owners and practitioners only. Lab uploads that are still being read (Processing) or are ready for you to check (Needs review). Each shows the patient, the file name and when it was uploaded. Select one to open it, or View all to go to Lab Results. When everything has been reviewed, you’ll see Nothing to review.
Calendar
A month view of the clinic. Coloured dots on each day show what’s on:
- Appointment
- Phone call
- Check due: a compliance check that’s due.
- Staff due: a team member’s training or compliance item that’s due. Owners see everyone’s; practitioners and receptionists see only their own.
Select a day to see the list underneath. Use the arrows to move between months.
Good to know
- The dashboard covers the whole clinic, not only your own appointments.
- Receptionists don’t see the Lab reviews and Q&A queue cards or panels. Everything else is the same for every role, apart from Staff due dates on the calendar.
- A banner above the dashboard may show your trial days left or a patient limit notice. See Finding your way around Clinicify.
