Google Meet links, with nothing extra to set up
If you have connected Google Calendar, you have already set up Google Meet. Video appointments get a Meet link when they are booked, and patients join from any browser without installing anything.
Every extra account is another password, another setting and another thing to go wrong.
The best set-up for video consultations is the one you have already done.
What changes
- Nothing extra to connect
Meet links come from the Google Calendar connection you already have.
- Patients join from a browser
No app to install. The link is in their confirmation.
- It is in your calendar too
The link sits on the calendar entry, so you join from where you already look.
Nothing more than it needs
- The Meet link is created on your "Clinic appointment" calendar entry, with no patient or treatment details in it.
- Only you and the patient get the link.
- Clinicify only ever uses the provider you chose for that appointment type, and never swaps Zoom for Meet or the reverse.
The detail, briefly
- Uses the practitioner's Google Calendar connection. There is no separate Meet connection.
- A Meet link per video appointment, created at booking.
- The link goes in the confirmation email and calendar entry.
- Cancelling the appointment removes the calendar entry and its meeting.
