Clinic payments in Xero, without retyping one
You keep Xero exactly as you and your accountant use it now. Clinicify sends every clinic payment across as it happens, and refunds too, so reconciling is a matter of matching transactions rather than re-entering them.
Copying payments from one system into another is the kind of job that is easy to put off and easy to get wrong.
And if your accountant is the one doing it, you are paying for their time to retype what already exists.
What changes
- Payments arrive on their own
Each clinic payment is sent to Xero as it happens, as a paid invoice against the bank account you choose.
- Refunds are accounted for
A refund in Clinicify arrives in Xero as a credit note, so the books match what actually happened.
- Your accountant keeps working the way they do
Nothing about your Xero set-up changes. The clinic's transactions simply turn up, ready to reconcile.
It only adds, never changes
- Transactions only ever go one way, into Xero. To set up, Clinicify reads your chart of accounts and tax rates, and it looks up existing contacts by email so it does not create duplicates.
- It does not edit, delete or reorganise anything already in your accounts.
- This is the one integration that does send patient details. A Xero contact carries the patient's name and email, because that is what an invoice is. Your clinic is the controller and Xero is your processor, so list Xero in your own records of processing.
- It is connected once for the clinic, by the owner, and can be disconnected at any time.
