Get paid at booking, through a checkout patients trust
Patients pay booking fees and balances through Stripe's own secure checkout, the one they have used at hundreds of other businesses. They can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The money goes straight to your clinic's Stripe account, and Clinicify takes no cut.
Taking payment is not hard. Taking it at the right moment is: when the patient commits, not after they have gone home.
Every payment chased afterwards is a phone call, an awkward conversation and a chance it never arrives. And every extra step at the checkout is a chance they close the page before paying.
What changes
- Paid when they commit
Booking fees are taken at the moment a patient books, so the slot is paid for before it is in your diary.
- Two taps, not a card number
Patients on a phone can pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay, with no card to find and no digits to type. The easier it is to pay, the more bookings finish instead of being abandoned halfway. It also looks like the established business you are: your clinic's name on a checkout they recognise, and on their statement.
- Missed appointments paid for, without the phone call
The payment method saved at booking means a no-show fee can be charged in one step.
What we never touch
- Card and wallet details go to Stripe, never to Clinicify. We never see or store a patient's full card number.
- Your clinic is the merchant of record. The money is paid directly into your Stripe account; Clinicify never holds it.
- Clinicify takes no percentage of your payments. Stripe's own processing fees apply, as they would anywhere.
