Start your free trial and set up your clinic

Signing up creates your clinic and makes you its owner. A short setup then asks for the essentials, so patients can book with you as soon as you’ve finished.

Before you start

• Anyone can start a trial. The person who signs up becomes the clinic’s owner.
• If a clinic has invited you to join its team, don’t start a trial. Select Accept invitation in your invitation email instead, and you’ll join that clinic without going through setup. See Invite a team member.
• The trial lasts 14 days and doesn’t need a card.
• Have your professional registration number to hand if you’ll be approving answers to patients’ clinical questions. You can add it later.

Steps

Create your account

1. Go to app.clinicifyapp.com/sign-up. The page says Start your 14-day free trial.
2. Enter your email address and follow the prompts to create your account.

When your account is ready, Clinicify creates your clinic and takes you into setup. The progress bar at the top shows four steps: Your profile, Branding, Appointment type and Availability.

Step 1: Your profile

1. Enter your First name, Last name and Clinic name.
2. Check the Patient portal URL. Clinicify suggests one from your clinic name and shows Available when it’s free. If it’s taken, choose one of the suggestions or type another.
3. Optionally, choose your regulator and enter your registration number under Professional registration.
4. Tick the box to confirm your clinic is the data controller for its records.
5. Select Continue.

Step 2: Branding

1. Pick a Brand colour, or type a hex code such as #0ea5e9. The Preview shows how the portal header and buttons will look.
2. Select Continue.

Step 3: Appointment type

1. Enter an Appointment name, Duration (minutes), Price (£) and Booking fee (£).
2. Select Continue.

The booking fee is taken when a patient books and comes off the price. It’s only charged once you’ve connected Stripe.

Step 4: Availability

1. Tick the days you work and set a start and end time for each. Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, is filled in for you.
2. Select Finish setup.

What happens next

You’ll see You’re all set! with your patient portal URL and a Copy button. Share that link with patients so they can sign in, view results and book. Select Go to dashboard to start using Clinicify.

A banner at the top of every page shows how many days of your trial are left, with a link to choose a plan.

Good to know

• Need to stop part way? Select Save and continue later at the top of the page. Each step is saved when you select Continue, and you’ll pick up where you left off next time you sign in.
• You can’t change your patient portal URL from settings later, so choose it carefully.
• Duration must be between 15 and 480 minutes, and the booking fee can’t be more than the price.
• If you see We couldn’t finish setting up your clinic, select Try again.
• If you don’t choose a plan by the end of the trial, your data is kept for 90 days and then deleted. See What happens when your trial ends.
