What happens when your trial ends

How long is the free trial?

14 days, starting when you sign up. You don’t need a card to start. Every feature is available during the trial.

How do I know how long is left?

Everyone on your team sees a banner at the top of each page: “Free trial - 14 days remaining”, counting down. In the last three days it turns amber and reads “Your trial expires in 3 days.” The owner can see the end date on the Billing page.

How do I keep using Clinicify?

Choose a plan before your trial ends. Select Upgrade in the banner, or go to Billing from the account menu. Only the clinic owner can do this. See Choose a plan.

What happens if the trial ends without a plan?

Your team can no longer use Clinicify’s pages. Practitioners and receptionists see a page saying your clinic’s free trial or subscription has ended, and asking them to ask the clinic owner to renew. When the owner signs in, Clinicify opens the Billing page, where the Current subscription card turns red and shows Free trial - ended, with the date your data will be deleted.

Your patients can’t book new appointments, pay online or send new questions. They see a message saying the clinic isn’t accepting online bookings at the moment, and to contact the clinic directly. They can still sign in, see their records and results, cancel appointments and complete forms for appointments they already have.

Is my data deleted?

Not straight away. Your clinic’s data is kept for 90 days after the trial ends. After that, the clinic and everything in it is permanently deleted, including patient records, appointments, treatment notes and lab results. This can’t be undone.

The owner is emailed 14 days and again 3 days before the deletion date.

Can I still choose a plan after the trial has ended?

Yes. Choosing a plan at any point during the 90 days restores full access straight away and cancels the deletion. Everything is as you left it.

Can I take a copy of my data?

Yes. After the trial ends, the Billing page shows a Leaving us? section where the owner can download a complete copy of the clinic’s data. You remain responsible for keeping clinical records for as long as your regulator requires. See Export your clinic’s data.
