Governance reports are structured minutes of your clinical governance, health and safety, MDT and significant event meetings. They build an evidence trail of incidents, complaints, audits, risks and the actions you agreed, and you can print any report or save it as a PDF.

Before you start

  • Any team member can create, edit, print and delete governance reports.

Create a report

  1. Select Checks in the sidebar, then Governance.
  2. Select New report.
  3. Enter a Title, for example “Clinical governance meeting - July 2026”.
  4. Set the Meeting date.
  5. Choose the Meeting type: Clinical governance, Health & safety, Multidisciplinary team (MDT), Significant event review or Other.
  6. Fill in Chaired by, Attendees and Apologies.
  7. Add rows to the sections you covered. Each has its own add button, such as Add incident or Add risk:
    • Matters discussed: topic, discussion, outcome.
    • Incidents & significant events reviewed: reference or date, summary, learning or action, status.
    • Complaints & feedback reviewed: reference or date, summary, action, status.
    • Audits & compliance reviewed: audit, finding, action.
    • Risks reviewed: risk, mitigation, owner.
    • Actions agreed: action, owner, due date, status.
  8. Add Key decisions and the Date of next meeting.
  9. Select Save report.

Title, meeting date and meeting type are required. Statuses are Open, In progress or Closed.

  1. On the Governance meeting reports page, select a report to open it.
  2. Select Print / Save as PDF.
  3. Check the Print preview, then select Print / Save as PDF again.
  4. In your browser’s print dialog, choose your printer, or choose “Save as PDF” as the destination.

The printed report shows your clinic’s name, the meeting details and every section you completed, with a “Generated from Clinicify” footer and the date.

Edit or delete a report

Select a report to open it, make your changes and select Save report. To remove it, select Delete in the report, then confirm.

Good to know

  • Reports are listed newest meeting first.
  • Report contents are stored encrypted.
  • There’s no separate sign-off step. Record who chaired and attended in the report itself.
  • Action statuses in a report don’t create reminders. Review open actions at your next meeting.
