The patient portal

Every Clinicify clinic has its own patient portal. It’s a website your patients use to manage their care with you, and it carries your clinic’s name, logo and colours rather than Clinicify’s.

Where to find it

Your portal lives at app.clinicifyapp.com/c/ followed by your clinic’s portal name. An owner can copy the exact address from Clinic settings > Details, under Patient portal URL. The address is set when your clinic is created and can’t be changed afterwards.

Share it on your website and at reception. The links in the emails and texts Clinicify sends patients already point to it.

What patients can do

Patients sign in with their email address and a six-digit code. There’s no password. Once signed in, they land on a home page that greets them by name and shows:

  • Upcoming appointments, with buttons to view all bookings or book another
  • Recent lab results that your team has published
  • Questions for your clinician, with a way to ask one
  • Your forms, listing anything still to complete
  • Links to Your treatments and Give feedback

From the menu, patients can also reach:

PageWhat it’s for
ResultsPublished lab results, with reference ranges, trends and comments from your practitioner
TreatmentsTreatment records you’ve shared, with aftercare and before-and-after photos
BookingsUpcoming and past appointments, booking new ones and cancelling
FormsForms to complete, and completed forms they can reopen
QuestionsAsking the clinic a question and reading replies
SettingsTheir details, communication preferences, photography consent and data erasure requests

On a phone, the main pages sit in a tab bar at the bottom of the screen, and Treatments, Forms and Settings are under More. A bell icon shows recent updates, such as a new result or a form that needs completing.

What visitors see before signing in

Someone who isn’t signed in can only see your booking page, the sign-in page and the page patients land on after paying through a payment link. The booking page is public, so new patients can book a first appointment there. See Your online booking page.

The payment page needs no sign-in, because patients often pay from an emailed or texted link on a phone where they aren’t signed in. It confirms the payment went through (or that it was cancelled and nothing was taken) and shows nothing about the patient or the appointment.

Making it yours

The portal uses your clinic’s logo, brand colour, accent colour, background colour, tagline and welcome message. The footer shows your clinic name, your CQC registration number if you’ve added one, and links to your privacy policy and terms. See Brand your patient portal and emails and Patient portal settings.
