Every plan includes every feature. The plans differ in the number of patients and seats. See Plans and pricing.

Who counts towards the limit?

Every patient record in your clinic counts, including past patients you haven’t seen for a while. It doesn’t matter how the patient was added: invited by your team, imported from a spreadsheet or booked online.

What happens when we reach the limit?

The owner is told when your clinic reaches its limit. A notice appears at the top of every page in Clinicify for your whole team, and the owner is also emailed. To add new patients after that, the owner needs to move up a plan.

Are our existing patients affected?

No. Existing patients are never affected. They can still sign in to the portal, book appointments, see their results and receive messages, and your team can keep working with their records as normal. The limit only applies to adding new patients.

What stops working at the limit?

Once you’re at the limit, you can’t invite or import new patients, and people booking a first appointment on your online booking page can’t complete their booking. They’re asked to contact the clinic directly. Clinicify doesn’t keep their details, so the owner is emailed to say a new patient was turned away.

How do we move up a plan?

The owner selects Upgrade your plan in the notice, or goes to Billing from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar. An upgrade applies straight away, so you can add new patients as soon as it’s confirmed. See Upgrade or downgrade your plan.

Practitioners and receptionists can’t change the plan. Their notice asks them to speak to the clinic owner.

Can we choose a plan that’s smaller than our patient list?

No. On the Subscription page, a plan whose limit is below the number of patients you already have can’t be selected, and it shows how many patients you have compared with what the plan allows.

Is there a limit during the free trial?

Patient limits apply to paid plans. When you choose a plan at the end of your trial, pick one that fits the number of patients you’ve added.
