Edit your profile

On this page
Your profile holds your name and professional details. Your name and registration appear on answers you approve for patients, so it’s worth keeping them accurate.
Before you start
- Every team member can edit their own profile.
- Owners can also edit other team members’ profiles. See Change a team member’s role or details.
Steps
- Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then My settings. You’ll land on Profile.
- Change any of these:
- First name and Last name (both required).
- Professional registration: choose your regulator (NMC, GMC, HCPC, GDC, GPhC or Other) and enter your Registration number.
- Phone number.
- Professional title, for example GP, Registered Nurse or Physiotherapist.
- Select Save changes in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
What happens next
Your changes are saved straight away. If the sidebar still shows your old name, refresh the page.
Good to know
- Your email address can’t be changed here. It’s the address you sign in with. To change it, contact support.
- Registration needs both parts. If you choose a regulator but leave the number blank (or the other way round), neither is saved.
- Approving clinical answers needs a registration with the NMC, GMC, HCPC, GDC or GPhC. Other can be saved but doesn’t let you approve clinical answers.
- Your professional title is shown alongside your registration on answers to patient questions.
- Your phone number is only used to fill in the mobile number when you set up two-step verification. Clinicify doesn’t send texts to it otherwise, and changing it here doesn’t change the number your codes go to.
