Every team member has an activity log showing what they’ve done with patient information in Clinicify. Use it to answer questions like “who opened this record?” or to review access when someone leaves.

Before you start

  • Only owners can view activity logs.
  • You can view the log of anyone currently on your team, including other owners and yourself.

Steps

  1. Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Clinic settings.
  2. Under Team & access, select Team members.
  3. Select the settings icon (Edit member settings) next to the person.
  4. Select the Activity tab.
  5. Narrow the list if you need to:
    • Action type: All actions, Read patient, Write patient, Read lab result, Upload PDF, Write lab result or Send Q&A answer.
    • From and To: the dates to look between. The last 7 days are shown to start with.

What you’ll see

The Activity log table has one row for each action, newest first:

ColumnWhat it shows
TimestampThe date and time of the action.
ActionWhat they did, for example viewing or changing a patient record.
Resource typeThe kind of record involved, such as a patient or a lab result.
Resource IDThe first eight characters of the record’s reference, for matching against other records.
IP addressThe network address the action came from.

The log shows 50 rows at a time. If there are more in your date range, select Load more at the bottom of the table to see the next, older 50. If nothing matches your filters, you’ll see No activity found for this period.

Good to know

  • All actions also includes other recorded actions that aren’t in the filter list, such as changes to team members.
  • The log is read only. There’s no way to edit or delete entries.
  • Once someone has been removed from your team, their log no longer appears here. Check their activity before you remove them if you might need it.
  • For your own sign-ins and devices, see Settings > Your preferences > Security.
