Update your clinic details
- Owner
On this page
Your clinic details are the name, address and contact information that patients see in your patient portal and in the emails Clinicify sends on your behalf. Keep them up to date so patients always know who is writing to them and how to reach you.
Before you start
- Only the clinic owner can change clinic details.
Steps
- Open the account menu at the bottom of the left sidebar and select Clinic settings.
- Under Clinic, select Details.
- In Clinic profile, check your Clinic name and Timezone.
- In Clinic identity, fill in any of these:
- CQC registration number
- Address line 1, Address line 2, City, Postcode and Country
- Contact phone and Contact email
- Privacy policy URL and Terms of service URL
- When the Unsaved changes bar appears at the bottom of the screen, select Save changes. Select Discard to undo your edits instead.
What happens next
Your changes apply straight away:
- Patient portal: your clinic name appears in the portal header. The footer shows your clinic name, your CQC registration number (if you entered one) and links to your privacy policy and terms of service.
- Emails: patient emails show your clinic name as the sender. The footer of each email shows your clinic name, the first two address lines and your contact phone. If you haven’t set a Reply-to email, patient replies go to your Contact email, and the footer shows it.
- Booking confirmations and reminders: the first two address lines are used as the appointment location.
Your patient portal URL
Patient portal URL shows the address patients use to sign in and book, in the form app.clinicifyapp.com/c/your-clinic. Select Copy to copy the full link, for example to put on your website. The address is set when you create your clinic and can’t be changed afterwards.
Good to know
- Timezone sets the time zone your working hours are read in when Clinicify works out which appointment times to offer online. Appointment times in patient emails and texts, in your patient portal and on your dashboard and bookings pages are shown in it too. The list starts with London (GMT/BST), which is the default.
- The privacy policy and terms of service links must start with
https://. Leave them blank if you don’t want links in the portal footer. - Patient replies go to the Reply-to email under Patient notifications when one is set, and to your Contact email only when it’s blank. See Choose which messages patients receive.
- To change your logo and colours, see Brand your patient portal and emails.
